Putting BlackBerry's $815 Million Arbitration Award Into Perspective

Qualcomm has been ordered to pay BlackBerry roughly $815 million by an arbitration panel, relating to royalties that the erstwhile smartphone behemoth overpaid to Qualcomm between 2010 and 2015 to license technologies for its smartphone business.
